What is it made from?
Our prickly pear seed oil is obtained by cold-pressing the seeds from the pulp of the prickly pear plant, grown organically in Morocco.
Completely unadulterated and 100% pure - we don’t add any essential oils, preservatives or carrier oils to our prickly pear seed oil, making it a very high-quality oil.
Every drop of this beautiful cold-pressed oil is precious. Each seed is handpicked from the pulp of the prickly pear plant, and only 5% of oil can be extracted from the seeds. This meticulous extraction method makes prickly pear seed oil one of the most expensive and rarest oils on the planet.
What does it smell like?
A very light hay-like scent that quickly dissipates when applied to the skin.
How should I store it? When does it expire?
Always store your oils out of direct sunlight. You can also keep it in the fridge. Remember to tightly close the bottle after every use. Prickly pear seed oil has a long shelf life when unopened, but it is best used up within six months of opening.
As with all our oils, a little goes a very long way. This is particularly true for prickly pear seed oil. Massage a small drop or two onto your face after applying water-based products.
For maximum impact, you can also mix it with other products like our Organic Rosehip Oil. Using the pipette, add a drop of each oil into the palm of your hand before applying to face.

This oil makes my face feel really pampered each time I use it. It seeps into my skin leaving no oily residue - it's just so lovely.
What can I say...some sort of sorcery surely, but it managed to calm my sensitive, rosacea skin after about 5 uses.
Rupa suggested this oil to improve condition of my fingernails, rubbing in a little drop each day - it works! Thank you x
I swear by opuntia ficus-indica seed oil for my face, and this particular brand delivers on oil quality, packaging and shipping. Very happy overall, will definitely buy again!
I have a moisturiser with Prickly Pear in which my skin loves, so it made me curious about trying it in oil form, did some research and this is how I came across Krī. The oil is rich, luxurious, hydrating, clean and non-comedogenic (a must for reactive PCO skin) and my dry skin absolutely drinks it in when I apply this at night on top of my moisturiser. I wake up with smooth, plumped up skin. It's fast becoming my favourite.
Make sure you actually pick this one up if you need something moisturising because this truly works in such a wonderful way.
This is my first time trying facial oils, and I'm so glad I did! I had been becoming more and more disillusioned with the ingredients of even natural facial products so I wanted to strip it down even more to see what really simple natural products I could use. I've been trialing the Clarity and Prickly Pear Oils, I've found the Clarity Oil is my favourite to use every day and the Prickly Pear a few nights a week as it's alot richer. My skin feels so soft and looks so much brighter! I'm amazed that oil on my face doesn't cause breakouts or look shiny at all. My hands feel great too after putting it on. Really happy and will definitely be investing in the full size when I run out.
I’ve tried (and loved) several face oils, all excellent. Krī Prickly Pear is without doubt the best, Deliciously smooth and warming, it seeps into my skin leaving no oily residue and you wake up feeling fabulous.
Love this oil . Started using Kri products after seeing them on FB and struggling with 50+ year old skin.
This oil is perfect - non greasy, thick, comforting like a warm hug. Am away at moment and am using it on my hair and as after sun 🌞
Think returning customers receiving a screw top bottle and re using pipette is a great idea !
Would you consider doing larger bottles so that my middle aged body can benefit from the benefits full time ? Xxxx
