Our ethics

Biodegradable raw materials and plant-based ingredients are at the core of our formulating values. To maintain integrity of our finished products, we use ingredients that are vegan and sourced responsibly. No Compromises.

Our entire product range is vegan. We operate a vegan manufacturing facility, which means there’s never any chance of cross-contamination.

Our products are created and manufactured in the United Kingdom. We do not sell our products in any country that requires animal testing. We are not owned by a parent company.

Cruelty free skincare

We believe that beauty should be cruelty free. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements. All of our products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.

Where possible, we always use organic ingredients to help ensure the local ecology and health of people and animals are not put at risk from pesticides and chemical fertilisers. We identify the organic ingredients used in our products with an asterisk on the 'Ingredients' tab of every product page.

Sustainable, Green Chemistry

The emulsifiers and preservatives used in our products are approved by Ecocert and COSMOS - the leading global standards for natural and organic cosmetics. Additionally, our emulsifiers (where relevant) are RSPO-certified.

It's not just about what's inside the bottle. We are fully committed to reducing our waste footprint as much as possible. All our products are housed in glass bottles, and we offer the option for returning customers to without plastic pumps and pipettes.

Your products arrive in an easily recyclable or reusable cardboard box. To help protect the bottles, we use fully biodegradable and compostable packing peanuts that are made from starch.

We want the benefits of our products to extend beyond skincare. We've elected to support Richard House Children's Hospice in East London. See more about our longstanding relationship with Richard House, and why we've donated all profits from hand sanitiser sales to the hospice.

We are committed to reducing our impact. As of 26 August 2020, we are donating towards the planting of trees for every product sold. These funds support the non-profit Eden Reforestation Projects as they continue to reforest the island of Madagascar.
