“Krī was born out of a desire to be more conscious of the ingredients we take out of the earth and put back into the environment, without compromising on performance. From my time spent in remote parts of the world, I’ve witnessed first-hand the importance of ensuring we don’t contaminate the very land and water that feeds our fragile ecosystem, which is why biodegradable ingredients are so important to me. “ - Rupa, founder

Raw materials and plant-based ingredients that are fully biodegradable and will not persist in the environment after the product's end-of-life are at the heart of our formulating values.
We strongly believe animal-derived ingredients have no place on our face. That's why our entire product range has always been and will continue to remain 100% vegan.
All of our products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products.
Our products are created and manufactured in the United Kingdom. We do not sell our products in any country that requires animal testing. We are not owned by a parent company.
Where possible, we always use organic ingredients to help ensure the local ecology and health of people and animals are not put at risk from pesticides and chemical fertilisers.
We identify the organic ingredients used in our products with an asterisk on the 'Ingredients' tab of every product page.
The emulsifiers and preservatives used in our products are approved by Ecocert and COSMOS - the leading global standards for natural and organic cosmetics. Additionally, our emulsifiers (where relevant) are RSPO-certified.
We operate a green manufacturing facility, which includes only using biodegradable cleaning materials and renewable energy sources. We have also set targets to reduce our annual energy usage.
We are committed to reducing our impact and promoting biodiversity by donating towards the planting of trees. These funds support the non-profit Eden Reforestation Projects as they continue to reforest the island of Madagascar.
We consciously maintain a small roster of trusted ingredient and packaging suppliers, each of whom we stringently vet to ensure their certifications and ethics are aligned with our expectations.
Our packaging supplier is ISO4001 accredited, which means they have targets to mitigate any adverse effects on the environment resulting from the business operation. Our organic ingredient supplier is certified by the Soil Association and is the UK's largest producer of cold-pressed oils.
